New American Idol is too fat
The very skinny and shapely Meme Roth of National Action Against Obesity said that Jordin Sparks is "too obese" to win American Idol. She says that 17 year old Sparks (winner and daughter of former NFL cornerback Phillipi Sparks), sends the wrong message to kids in the midst of child obesity crisis.
"When I look at Jordin, what I see is heart disease, I see diabetes, I see high cholesterol."
Wow. When I look at Jordin, I see a fat chick with low self-esteem that I would totally bang at 4am while drunk at the bar and out of all options. Because those girls have SUPER-low expectations and will do whatever you want...you know....like let you bring the panini-press into bed and such...

Get over yourself!!!!! I think she is a great example to women in today's society!!! She has a real figure! When I look at her I see a healthy young woman!!!
You must have lost your mind - do you know when obesity even starts? It's anything over a 35 BMI - or 40-50 pounds over the recommended weight for your height and body style. Get over yourself - Jordin is a 17 year old beautiful young woman - she is healthy and tall - and everybody should have at least one or two extra pounds! Unlike so many other anorexic and bulimic women that run around - and you are just encouraging more anorexia and bulimia - You are not playing with a full deck - Just my opinion!
You must be extremely crazy. Jordin Sparks is a very beautiful young woman. It is someone like her that I would want my own daughters to look up too. I think women should have a little bit of meat on them. Anorexic is not the way to be. Get over yourself and seek some help.

I think this is absolutely ridiculous. Jordin Sparks is a beautiful NATURAL woman. Meme seems to have serious issues, to have the guts to go out and express such offensive remarks. Especially in a society where anorexia and bulimia are so prevelent in young girls. It doesn't take a genius to realize you can't go and bad mouth someone about serious issues such as heart disease and say that a woman as beautiful as Jordin is obess without realiving that young girls are looking at themselves and judging their looks too. It seems more like a publicity ploy then anything else, because where was Meme before when others who were actually obess were flashed across the screens of TVs and movies. Jordin is 17 and healthy, if she were obess she wouldn't be able to perform the way she does.
Jordin Sparks is a REAL woman. Women don't have to be super thin, or even thin at all, to be beautiful. And to be prejudiced against somebody simply because they don't look like a coked-out bulimic model is just toally screwed up. Shut your mouth and go eat a freakin' cheeseburger... then throw it up if you feel like it.

This is a joke right??? Who are you to judge someone else... She is a very beautiful girl with a fantastic voice... It's people like this that cause women to have eating disorders because they are scared about what others will say. You should be ashamed of yourself! I'm not exactly skinny now, but when i was younger and weighed 120 no guys would talk to me, now men approach me all the time.
I just want to say that this b**** is crazy, I am just mortified that these days what is considered hot is if you can fit into a size zero. Honestly that is the worst image in the world that you can send to these girls out here. I am a little on the plus side and could stand to lose a few pounds for myself of course because it is what I want my body to look like. I don't want my body to look like these skinny women out here because to me they look sick and they need to eat. With the way that anorexia and bulimea run ramped in this country you really want girls or women who are 10 lbs over what the chart at the doctors office say going on a diet because you don't like the way they look? That is the thing if you don't like it then don't look at it. I mean honestly what does it matter to you anyway? And for you to say that oh she shouldn't be on american idol, well sweetie obviously america doesn't have a problem with her because they voted for her over and over and over again. Us women are tired of being made to feel like if we can't fit into a zero or a two or whatever a model can fit into then we are worthless and frankly that is just not true. I HATE women like you because honestly you aren't a real woman. A real woman comes in different sizes and they aren't physically altered to look like them models. I can't wait for victoria secret comes out with regular people models, because sweetie we don't all look like that and for you to tell someone just becasue they have a few extra pounds they are obese and they should pretty much be hidden from the public because of it, I say you should be drug out and stonned. Only because you are going to cause so many problems in your lifetime for young girls. Don't you see these people who starve themselves to death because of people like you? I think it is ridiculous that women today are judged by their dress size. The problem comes with what society icons deem as "acceptable". Heck, Marilyn Monroe wore like a size 12 or 14, and she is considered one of the sexiest women of all times. Obesity comes with unhealthiness with being overweight. Jordin Sparks is not obese. She may be overweight, but who's to judge overweight anyway? If Reuben stoddard was female, would the world have jumped on the fact that he made the american idol and was overweight? If we shift our focus to sexy, instead of weight...let's examine our options. Confidence is sexy. Competence is sexy. Intelligence is sexy. Glamourous is sexy. Not being angry all the time because all you ate was a lettuce leaf is sexy. Ask a normal man if he wants an anorexic girl...get over it, Meme Roth. Weight doesn't define the innnate beauty of a woman. A size 2 doesn't make you whole as a person. Get over trying to fit your philosophies on obesity into one little neat package. Sounds like the complaints of fat women who can't stop themselves from eating, so they blame 'society' - put down the donuts and face it, you're all fat! Even ONE pound over weight increases your risks for a number of health problems.
Take one hour out of your TV watching schedule 3-4 times a week and workout. Join the skinny people

There are too many bulimic and aneroxic young girls in society today. We all look at magazines and see all these young women that are famous having eatting disorders, drug, and alcohol problems and it makes the young girls that read it look up to them and feel like they have to be like them so they don't eat or dont' eat as much or purge their food and it's sick. Then we have the new Dove commericals that have the different size women and they are actually normal weight. It's sad that a woman that is anorexic can say Jordin is fat does she even know what it's like to be over weight. People that are over weight are also humans and have feelings and standards. Someone needs to put this woman in check...She is out of her mind...Soceity makes it seem like you have to be this weight in order to be accepted or have a bf or be famous and that is totally not true. Lets hope Jordin can help some girls who are under weight realize it's ok to be normal and not a stick figure because we need more people like her in American Idol and movies and selling cds. I know thats a lot of what I said but thats just a little bit of how this sick woman makes me feel.
